Tree Burning Festival A Success

Tree Burning Festival A Success

Editor, The Cheshire Herald:

On behalf of our family foundation, I would like to express our gratitude for the community support that made our Second annual Lori’s Truth Tree Burning Festival a success.

We could not have held an event of this magnitude without the generosity of our many sponsors, including Powerstation Events, Crispy Melty by Caseus, Paul Gregory’s Bistro, Counter Weight Brewing, Barefoot Wine, and Polar Beverages. We would also like to thank a number of local businesses that contributed to our raffle baskets for the event, including Cheshire Nursery, Cheshire Pizza & Ale, C.J. Sparrow, R.W. Hine Ace Hardware, Counter Weight Brewing, and Cheshire Wine & Spirits. Finally, thank you to everyone who braved the cold to join us by the fire that afternoon either as a guest or a volunteer. We are very grateful for your support as it helps to fund our community outreach efforts.

In 2016, my mother, Lori, passed away from a rare disease called Amyloidosis. To this day, her passing weighs heavy on our hearts. As a way to turn this loss into something filled with light and life, we established Lori’s Truth to honor her through community service that reflects both her passions and her spirit.

Thank you all as your support makes this work possible.
