On behalf of our Cheshire Garden Club members, I would like to congratulate The Cheshire Herald on this auspicious occasion for having reached their 70th anniversary.
Our club would like to express our gratitude for having our Beauty Spot of the Month awards published from April through October since its inception in 1968, culminating in the Beauty Spot of the Year in October. Similarly, our Annual Holiday Door Decorating Contest, which was established in 1954, has always received a full-page spread in the last issue of the current year picturing the winners in the six different categories.
Now in its 40th year, our Annual Holiday Luncheon fundraiser affords us to present our Annual Scholarship to a graduating High School Senior — both of these events plus diverse club programs are regularly published throughout the year.
