The Rams built a 3-0 halftime lead en route to a 5-0 victory over North Haven (0-3).

Just 2:50 into the contest, Cheshire struck first on a corner kick. After a boot by senior quad-captain Samir Dishnica, senior quad-captain Colin Brown jumped up to net a header at the left post.

Junior Will Stearns and Dishnica put in goals to extend the lead in the first half. Following the break, Dishnica converted twice to tie his personal-best goal total with three.

Brown and senior quad-captain Kevi Sulollari assisted on Dishnica’s goals in the second half.

CHS worked together to limit shots in front of senior goalkeeper John Tarca, who made one save in earning his first shutout.

On Tuesday, CHS visits Branford (2-1) to compete at 6:30 p.m.
