On Wednesday, Cheshire High School girls’ swim and dive was announced as the Southern Connecticut Conference champion (1,283 points) for the ninth straight year and 26th time in 27 years. CHS also earned the SCC Division I regular season title with 1,336 points.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the SCC decided to not hold their traditional final and instead asked teams to run virtual swim meets from Oct. 26 to Nov. 10. A diving competition was also held last Saturday at Albertus Magnus College.
After all of the schools finished up, times and dive scores were put together for team standings.
This story will be updated later today with Cheshire individual results.
