Sebastian “Sam” Pascarelle

CHESHIRE – Sebastian “Sam” Pascarelle, 84, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Jacqueline Russo Pascarelle.

Sam was born in New Haven on May 19, 1936, and was the son of the late Michael and Josephine Marcello Pasquarelle. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army. Sam had worked for Wire Association for over 20 years, retiring as a Convention Planner.

Sam enjoyed bowling, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren who he loved unconditionally. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Mt. Carmel Council, since 1961.

Father of Sharon Pessin (Aharon) and Sebastian Pascarelle, Jr. (Diana). Grandfather of Isabella and Nicholas Pascarelle, Eliyahu, Yehuda and Esther Pessin. Brother to Concetta Piscitelli and the late Frank Pascarelle.

The visiting hours were Sunday, March 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Monday morning, March 22, at 10. Interment with full military honors followed in St. Bridget Cemetery, Cheshire. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St., Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611-3272.
