St. Bridget Students Stuff A Bus

Grade-eight students at St. Bridget School held their annual Stuff-a-Bus fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 1, to collect non-perishable food and household items to be given to the Cheshire Food Pantry.

This year, the students, staff, and parishioners of Saint Bridget of Sweden Parish donated 1,573 pounds of items, up from last year’s 1,216. Items were delivered to the Food Pantry and will be distributed to community members in need.

This event is completely organized by students and their two teachers, Mrs. Fitzpatrick and Ms. Carroll, and continues to be an important community ministry project for all St. Bridget students. Principal Dr. Nancy Testa shared that she is elated with the generous support of the annual collection and is grateful to all the students, families, and parishioners who contributed to support the community.

St. Bridget School serves the students of its parishioners as well as those from over 20 surrounding communities. To learn more about St. Bridget School, visit
