Cheshire Garden Club Beauty Spot for June

Cheshire Garden Club Beauty Spot for June

The Cheshire Garden Club has selected the Residential Beauty Spot of the Month for June 2022 and presented the award to the property at 310 Patton Drive. Displaying the award plaque are homeowners Don and Melissa Camerato standing in front of their beautiful Colonial holding their young son Chase and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel April.

Among their plantings in the front area,  pink and lavender blue are the dominant colors of not only the perennials, but also the annuals in various planters and window boxes. In addition to ‘Encore’ azaleas that just finished blooming — and will bloom again later in the summer — five small pink rose bushes are presently in bloom as well as nine low-growing catmints neatly positioned in two finely-manicured planting beds. Four large planters, two each in front of the two doorways, are filled abundantly with pink Petunias. The three window boxes pick up the same lavender blue theme with ‘Purple Top’ Verbenas. A colorful wreath hangs prominently from the main front door. Soon to bloom are two ‘Vanilla Strawberry’ PeeGee Hydrangea trees positioned at either side of the front property to keep this Beauty Spot looking attractive during the coming months.
