The Cheshire Garden Club has selected the property at 238 Towpath Lane for the May Beauty Spot of the Month, which features an abundant display of flowering Rhododendrons and Azaleas. Over a 13-year period, property owners Timothy and Kathleen Kiernan have developed their beautiful front yard with attractive plantings throughout the growing season. Most stunning are the two Rhododendrons with their soft pink and white blossoms, and framing either side of the front door are deep magenta Judge Solomon Azaleas. Light-colored blue Sweet Alyssum and Forget-me-nots provide added color closer to the ground.
Congratulations to the Kiernans for their May Beauty Spot award.
