The Cheshire Art League’s monthly meeting will take place at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Sept. 3, at the Cheshire Library, 104 Main St., in the Mary Baldwin Room. The guest artist will be Liz Scott. Scott (Elizabeth Hundt Scott) exhibits her artwork throughout the state and is an active member of various groups. She enjoys the simplicity and directness of freehand drawing in pencil but also works in charcoal, colored pencil, pastel, watercolor, and acrylics. She is inspired by natural and found objects

The Art League’s monthly demonstrations are free and open to the public. If you have a desire to increase your knowledge of the arts, or if you have an interest and appreciation for art, these demonstrations make for an enjoyable and informative evening.
