August 18, 2014 by Greg Lederer

The Cheshire Men's Softball League has three new playoff champions this year. In Games threes last Friday at Cheshire Park, AJ Waste (A) and Franklin Products (B) won their division titles. AJ Waste came back from a 5-1 hole to walk off with a 6-5 win against defending champion Campania Club. Franklin Products defeated Allstate 22-9.
In the inaugural Slow Pitch Division, Crank My Tractor won a slugfest 20-10 with Middletown Nissan on Sunday.
All three victors were also regular season champions.
First three photos of Brooks Robinson (AJ Waste), Rich Uluski (Franklin Products), Eric Mills (Campania Club), and Steve Besonson (Allstate) were taken by Jim Brandolini/Cheshire Herald. Pictured at bottom, Albert Flores hits for Crank My Tractor. Photo taken by Al Valerio/Cheshire Herald.
