The Cheshire Town Council will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m., and it's expected the group will be discussing the newly-recommended tension membrane manufacturer for the Cheshire Community Pool.
On Monday night, the Public Building Commission voted to recommend Arizon Structures based out of Missouri as the new manufacturer of the tension membrane covering to be installed over the pool. The recommendation comes a few weeks after the Town canceled its contract with Signature Structures, which had previously been charged with building the cover.
Officials have been adamant that, despite the change in manufacturers, the timeline to complete the project should not be affected significantly.
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers in Town Hall, 84 South Main St. All members of the public are invited to attend.
