PZC To Discuss Community Pool Tonight

May 12, 2014 by michael torelli

The Planning and Zoning Commission is holding a public hearing and special meeting tonight in the Town Hall’s Council Chambers.
On the agenda for the public hearing is a zone text change amendment that, if approved, would allow for the Town of Cheshire to apply for a special permit application for a tension membrane structure over the Community Pool at Bartlem Park, which has a current height limit of 40 feet.
The zone text change amendment would also add both passive and active recreation definitions in the Cheshire Zoning Regulations.
Also included on the public hearing agenda are applications for a resubdivision on Reservoir Road, an in-law apartment on Peck Lane, and a zone map change on West Main Street.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit
