Rams Boys' LAX Comes Up Short Against Warriors

On Saturday, Cheshire High School boys' lacrosse (4-9) lost 10-7 against Andover (13-4) from Mass. With the score the tied 2-2 in the first quarter, the Warriors posted a 4-0 spurt. They took a 6-3 lead into halftime. Cheshire closed the gap to 6-5, but Andover netted four of the last six goals.
CHS received two goals from seniors Matt Rougeot (two assists) and Alec Thomas. Junior Matt Blois had a goal and two assists. Senior Ben Hamel and junior Christian Russo contributed goals. Senior goalkeeper Jared Lawson had 21 saves.
The Rams host Simsbury (11-0) on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
