Youth Services Looking For Mentors

Cheshire Youth Services is looking for high school students to become reading mentors for the Cheshire Youth Literacy Program. This program partners first graders with high school students to share a joy of reading.
High school students who are free on Saturday mornings from 9:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., from April 6 through May 18, and who can demonstrate the importance of reading to kids, are needed.
This program is a great volunteer experience and mentors will receive community service hours. Students who are interested in being a part of the Spring 2014 session are asked to call Cheshire Youth Services at (203) 271-6690 or email Lauren at lblackwell@cheshirect.org by Friday, March 21.

Cheshire Youth Services is looking for high school students to become math mentors for the Cheshire Student Math Mastery Club. This program partners third graders with high school students to share the fun of math.
High school students who are free most Saturdays from 12:20 to 2 p.m. from April 5 through May 17 and who can demonstrate the importance and fun of math to kids are needed.
This program is a great volunteer experience and mentors receive community service hours. Those who are interested in being a part of our Spring 2014 session, please call Cheshire Youth Services at (203) 271-6690 or email Lauren at lblackwell@cheshirect.org by Friday, March 21.
