The School Counseling Department at Cheshire High School offers a financial assistance booklet to graduating seniors. This booklet contains a variety of local scholarships available to students. These scholarships represent a genuine concern on the part of local business people and private citizens to help students pursue education beyond high school.
Presently, there are more than seventy individuals and organizations offering scholarships. As college costs continue to increase, scholarship money has become increasingly important. The scholarship booklet is available on Feb. 13, in the School Counseling Department/Career Resource Center.
After determining eligibility, students should complete the common application and any supplemental form that may be necessary. Students are responsible for accurately completing the applications, obtaining the recommendations and submitting them to the School Counseling Department. The application deadline for completing all scholarship applications is March 19.
