Parking Ban Still In Effect for Cheshire

January 3, 2014 by michael torelli

The Town of Cheshire is still under a parking ban while Town and state try to clear the roads of snow.

The Town and state will first make one-lane pathways throughout Cheshire. After there is a passageway throughout the majority of town, plow trucks will continue to push back snow toward the curb, which requires all cars to be off the streets, according to the Public Works Department.
The parking ban will be lifted once all roads are clear, but it is uncertain when that will be completed.
Trash pick-up is still on schedule, although they are a day late due to the New Year's Day.
