Pulek Named All-NESCAC First Team

November 27, 2013 by Greg Lederer

Sophomore punter Kyle Pulek, a 2012 Cheshire High School graduate, has received All-New England Small College Athletic Conference First Team as a member of Trinity College football. He ranked second in the conference for yards per punt (39.3). Eleven of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line.
Pulek earned All-NESCAC Second Team last fall, leading the conference in yards per punt. He dropped four punts inside the 20-yard line against Wesleyan, a school-record.
Another 2012 graduate, lineman David Brzozowski, played his freshman season for the Bantams. Fellow Cheshire residents Lew Acquarulo and Mark Ecke assist Head Coach Jeff Devanney.
Trinity (6-2) capped the season with a 40-10 win over Wesleyan on Nov. 9. It was the program's 51st straight win.
