Cheshire Academy Football Wins Big In Dan Rorke Bowl, CHS Drops Game At Wilbur Cross

In their season finale, Cheshire Academy football defeated New Hampton School 70-20 in the Dan Rorke Bowl at Williston Northampton School. Both teams end at 8-1.
Cheshire High School (4-6) lost 40-13 at Wilbur Cross (4-6). Wilbur Cross ran off 27 straight points after Cheshire led 6-0. Juniors Jack Cunningham (57 yards) and Andrew Yamin (five yards) added touchdown runs in the first and fourth quarters, respectively.
Find comment in next week's issue of The Cheshire Herald. CHS ends the year with the 18th Apple Valley Classic against Southington (8-1) on Thanksgiving at 10 a.m. It will be Senior Day for players and cheerleaders. The Rams hold a tight edge (9-8) in the rivalry.
