Class Pairings for CHS Field Hockey, Girls' Soccer, And Girls' V-Ball Announced

Cheshire High School girls' volleyball (22-0) has the top seed for the Class LL Tournament, receiving a first-round bye. The winner of Monday's match between Norwich Free Academy (17th, 11-7) and host Fairfield Warde (16th, 12-7) at 7 p.m. comes to Cheshire for Thursday's Second Round at 7 p.m. Cheshire came up short 3-0 against Darien in the 2012 final.
Field Hockey (second, 17-2)
Cheshire carries a seven-game win streak into the Class L Tournament. The winner of Monday's qualifier between Fairfield Ludlowe (18th, 6-8-1-1) and host Hamden (15th, 8-7-1-1) at 6 p.m. visits Cheshire for Wednesday's First Round at 6 p.m.
CHS has made the L final for the last two years, beating Norwalk 1-0 for the 2011 title. They came up short 4-0 against Darien last year.
Girls' Soccer (seventh, 13-4)
CHS hosts Greenwich (26th, 6-6-4) in Monday's Class LL First Round at 2 p.m.
