On Tuesday, Cheshire High School junior Erin Mostoller (third, 311.7), freshman Emily Glatt (fifth, 300.45), and senior Theresa Cashore (16th, 201.65) participated in Southern Connecticut Conference diving at Hamden.
The Lady Rams will enter Southern Connecticut State University for Wednesday's swim final as the defending SCC Champion. The meet starts at 6 p.m. CHS (1,314 points) recorded their 18th crown, the SCC record, in 2012.

Field Hockey (top seed, 16-2)
Cheshire looks for a three-peat on Wednesday in the SCC final, meeting Daniel Hand (second, 16-1-1) at Branford. Start time is 7 p.m. Cheshire carries a six-game win streak into this year's rubber match. Hand beat Cheshire 4-1 on Sept. 17 in Madison, but CHS returned to become the only team to defeat the Tigers 4-3 on Oct. 8 at home.
Cheshire rallied to defeat host Guilford 2-1 (overtime) for their first tournament title in 2011. They earned the tournament's first title defense last fall, shutting Hand 1-0.
Girls' Volleyball (top, 21-0)
CHS hosts Branford (fifth, 15-7) for semifinal action at 6 p.m. Sue Bavone will coach for her 398th win. In Tuesday's quarterfinal, CHS swept Sheehan (ninth, 11-11) 3-0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-8) for the third time. Branford beat host Shelton (fourth, 14-7) 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-19). Cheshire has won the first two meeting with Branford on Oct. 2 (3-0) and last Thursday (3-1).
CHS is the two-time defending champion and have nine titles (SCC record).
