Because of the national holiday, Columbus Day, Cheshire’s Planning and Zoning Commission had to postpone their public hearing and special meetings, normally set for Mondays, to tonight.
The public hearing will cover Consulting and Design, LLC’s special permit application to renovate the existing Shell convenience store on 901 West Main Street in an attempt to add a drive-thru Dunkin’ Donuts. If the public hearing for the drive-thru is closed, the Commissioners may vote on it tonight.
Consolidated Industries’ site plan application for an expansion to relocate their hammer shop was withdrawn from the meeting. More information will be provided in an upcoming edition of The Cheshire Herald.
New business concerns Ricci Construction Group requesting a sidewalk waiver for both sides of Crestwood Drive.
The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in Town Hall, 84 South Main Street.
