CHS Field Hockey Earns Eighth Straight Win

Cheshire High School field hockey (10-1) posted their eighth straight win 7-0 at Lyman Hall (3-4-3-1). CHS took a 4-0 lead into halftime. Senior Michelle Federico (assist) and freshman Alyssa Stevens recorded two goals each. Stevens had never scored before. Both of her goals were assisted by senior Olivia Larson. Senior Ashley Tartaglia also supplied her first goal, receiving a pass from Federico.
Cheshire added goals from senior Allie Rosadino and junior Kya O'Donnell.
Senior goalkeeper Maddy Levy (six saves) stopped a penalty stroke from Lyman Hall senior Jen Padilla. Levy has four shutouts.
The Lady Rams visit Greenwich on Saturday at 1 p.m.
