Bennett Faces Final Season With The Rams

September 4, 2013 by Greg Lederer

In preparation for his 15th season as Cheshire High School boys' cross country head coach, Jim Bennett announced this would be his final run with the team. Bennett is moving his family to North Carolina. He has compiled a 122-32 record at CHS, garnering two Housatonic Division titles (2000-01) and the 2002 Southern Connecticut Conference crown.
Bennett is also stepping down from being boys' indoor track and field head coach, a position he has held since 2009. A 1990 graduate of CHS, he ran cross country and track and field. He also competed at King's College in New York City.
