[CHAIR]ity Project Set To Kick Off Next Week

August 5, 2013 by John Rook

[RE]new Furniture is getting ready for an innovative and fun charity event.
Beginning August 16, children 12 and under will have the opportunity to take part in a unique scavenger hunt. At different business locations throughout Cheshire, creative-looking chairs will be placed. Each of these chairs have been created by an artist, fusing furniture and art in a creative way.
Those participating in the [CHAIR]ity Project will be asked to find each one of these chairs and collect a [CHAIR] card, proving they visited the location. Children will win a prize for participating and be entered into a grand prize drawing.
Participants will then be asked to bring their cards to the Project's Silent Auction Event on September 15 and trade them in for those prizes and a grand prize drawing ticket.
All of the chairs will be displayed at the Fall Festival on September 7, where people may begin the Silent Auction bidding (all bidding will conclude at the September 15 event).
For more information on this scavenger hunt and silent auction, see an upcoming edition of The Cheshire Herald.
