Cheshire Lambs Finish Second In Nutmeg State Games 15-U Field Hockey

Cheshire Lambs of Cheshire High School field hockey went 3-1 to take silver medals in the Nutmeg State Games 15-U Tournament at Conard. They defeated FC United Black (2-1), Danbury Orange (2-0), and FC United Blue (2-0) before losing against HTC Club (3-0-1) in the final. Katie Caldwell made 13 saves in the final game.

Cheshire Rams visit Conard for Saturday's 18-U High School Tournament. They are scheduled to face Immaculate (9 a.m.), Branford (11:30 a.m.), and Hamden (1:30 p.m.). The girls will be coached by another 2010 graduate, Lauren Hague.
