Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is coming to St. Peter’s Church, 59 Main St., on Saturday, July 27, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 28, at 4 p.m.
This is a fully-staged production, directed and choreographed by Joy Weaver, a veteran of the Broadway stage who also directed “Godspell” at St. Peter’s in 2011 and “The Sound of Music” in 2012. The cast of 30 is from the Cheshire/New Haven community.
Musical direction is by June Hale and costumes and sets are by Sandi Baker. Joseph’s coat is custom-designed and made by Barbara Carter. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children. Tickets are available in advance from the church office, 59 Main St., (203) 272-4041, and at the door on performance dates.
