The Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal, which is published quarterly by the Quinnipiac University School of Law in cooperation with the
National College of Probate Judges and Connecticut Probate Assembly, has selected for publication a judicial decision rendered by the Hon. Matthew Jalowiec in January of 2012.
The Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal is a practitioner's guide and a source of information regarding probate law to the legal community. Four issues each year include student notes and case comments, opinions from probate courts in Connecticut
and other jurisdictions across the country, and scholarly articles by judges and practitioners. The Journal promotes the development of probate law by publishing articles and opinions on timely issues that have scholarly merit and practical application.
"I am very proud that the Journal has selected my work for publication. Having one’s work as a Judge recognized as an example of upholding the law and properly serving constituents is a great honor. It is my hope that others can learn from the work I have
done and use it to help them advocate to help others through the fair exercise of the law." said Judge Jalowiec.
Judge Jalowiec sits in his third year as Judge of the Cheshire – Southington Probate District. He is also an alumnus of the Quinnipiac School of Law. The Judge’s decision is contained in Volume 26, Issue 3 published this month.
