Nancy J. Whidden, 66, of Ellington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2013.
Born January 27, 1947 in Waterbury, Conn., she was a daughter to Amedeo “Guy” and the late Angela S. (Stanco) Pagano. She was an amazing mother, dedicated wife and a passionate educator of elementary school children in South Windsor for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband John; son Dr. Eric and his wife Brienne of Colchester, Conn.; sister Anne and her husband Michael Kennedy of Cheshire, Conn.; brothers David and his wife Linda Pagano of Hilton Head, S.C. and John and his wife Kris Pagano of Cheshire, Conn. She also leaves her father Amedeo “Guy,” five nieces, and two nephews.
A Memorial Mass for Nancy was held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 141 Maple St., Ellington, Conn. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
