Iovene, Green Knights Come Up Short Of Title Defense

Cheshire's Anthony Iovene is a junior defenseman for the Notre Dame-West Haven ice hockey team (second seed; 18-6-1), who lost 3-2 against Fairfield Prep (top seed; 23-1) in the Division I final. Fairfield Prep scored the last three goals to finish 4-0 against ND-WH at Ingalls Rink, the home of Yale University. ND-WH won the title last season.
