CHS Graduates Open LAX Season On Wednesday

Eastern Connecticut men's lacrosse received six points from juniors Mike Devine and Michael Jordan, 2010 Cheshire High School graduates, however, they lost Tuesday's opener 16-8 against Stevens Institute of Technology. Devine, a mid-fielder, had three goals and two assists. Jordan also scored on attack.
ECSU hosts Gordon College on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Warriors are the defending Little East Conference Champions under Justin Axel.
A 2012 graduate, Quinnipiac University freshman mid-fielder Maria Blois had two assists in her debut against Yale University. Yale beat the Bobcats 19-12, but senior attack Sarah Allen made school history by assisting twice to break the career record (112). The previous record was held by 2010 graduate Katie Latonick.
Quinnipiac, coached by Danie Caro, hosts University of Connecticut on Saturday at 12 p.m.
