With The Forecast Predicting Another Round Of Winter Weather, Library Postponing Sunday Showcase

February 22, 2013 by John Rook

The storm for this weekend isn't supposed to even approach the totals produced by the Blizzard of 2013 a few weeks ago, but conditions are expected to be messy enough that the library has decided to postpone its Sunday Showcase.
This weekend, Paul Bisaccia was slated to perform his production of The Great American Piano Revisited. However, library officials announced this morning that the concert has been postponed to a later date due to the winter storm expected this weekend.
No makeup date has been announced.
Forecasts have not been universal when it comes to what the storm will bring Saturday night into Sunday morning, with some outlets predicting that the state will only see a dusting to 3 inches, with much rain and sleet mixed in, while others are forecasting 3 to 6 inches for inland areas of the state and 6+ inches in the northern most part of Connecticut.
