Cheshire High School boys' basketball (9-8; 6-2 in Housatonic Division) stopped a four-game skid by beating Lyman Hall (1-16; 0-8) 78-49 for the second time. CHS led 41-25 at halftime. Seniors Kevin Dietrich (15), Eric Dietrich (13), Erik Pettit (12), along with sophomore Andrew Yamin (11), led in points. Junior Collin Jordan supplied eight.
The Rams recognize the Dietrich brothers, Pettit, and Tim Covel in Friday's Senior Night against Career Magnet (10-7) at 7 p.m. Cheshire won the Dec. 12 opener 79-55 in New Haven.
