Trash Pickup Occurring On A One-Day Delay

Town of Cheshire officials are reminding residents that, due to the blizzard experienced last weekend and the difficult cleanup process currently underway, trash and recycling pickup for this week will be operating on a one-day delay. That means residents who have Monday pickup saw their trash collected yesterday, those with Tuesday can expect their trash to be collected today, and so on. Officials ask that residents place their cans on cleared part of their driveway off of the street.
Also, officials are warning that pickup is expected to take much longer than normal, so residents are asked to keep their cans/bins out even if they have not been emptied by the usual time.
