Cheshire Academy Football Inks National Letters Of Intent

On Wednesday, Cheshire Academy had their National Signing Day for six football players: Jeffrey Biestek (Brown University-Providence, R.I.), Tommy Bodulus (Bucknell University-Lewisburg, Pa.), Leaon Gordon (Merrimack College-North Andover, Mass.), Kalief Joyner (University of Albany-N.Y.), Sam Russell (Brown). Cory Jasudowich didn't attend the ceremony, but signed his National Letter of Intent to the University of Connecticut in Austin, Texas. Jasudowich played for Team USA in Tuesday's International Federation of American Football Under-19 World Championship.
The Fighting Cats went 7-2 in their first season under Head Coach Dave Dykeman.
