It was a big day for budding scientists on Monday as St. Bridget School held its annual Science Fair.
Students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades displayed their work in the school's cafeteria, utilizing cardboard cut out displays to show how they devised their experiments and listed their conclusions.
Judges, made up of professionals for different scientific fields, were on hand to judge the displays and, at the end of the day, handed out their awards.
The following students were honored at the Fair:
Evan Mikulski – First Place
Caroline Kent – Second Place
Giovanna DiRubba – Third Place
Giovanna Milone – Fourth Place
Christian Hakim – First Place
Zoe Anderson – Second Place
Nathan Marcus – Third Place
Caitlyn Napierkowski – Fourth Place
The first place winners attend the state competition in March at Quinnipiac University. Sixth grade students did not have their worked judged.
