Cheshire High School boys' basketball (6-4; 3-1 in Housatonic Division) won their third straight 76-56 against Joseph Foran (4-7) on Saturday. The Rams had a 40-24 advantage at halftime. Senior Eric Dietrich (three three-pointers) and junior Collin Jordan (five rebounds, three steals) posted 15 points. Sophomore Andrew Yamin (six rebounds and assists) had 12 points. Yamin made his four foul shots. Cheshire got seven rebounds from senior Erik Pettit (eight points) and junior Tyler Post (seven points). Junior Reid Duglenski scored two three-pointers. Senior Tim Covel and junior Tom Arisco (three-pointer) chipped in four points. Jonathan Rizzo scored a three-pointer. Sophomore Connor Gunneson made a basket.
The Rams visit Sheehan (6-6; 2-2) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
At the New Milford Tournament, junior Jake Cervero became champion at 132 pounds. Senior Josh Hunihan took second at 160.
CHS hosts Fairfield Prep on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
