Cheshire High School senior skier Kelsie Carlette won her opener last Wednesday at Mount Southington, clocking a time of 48.56. Sophomore Liz Cunningham (14th, 51.38), freshman Meghan Diamond (16th, 51.48), sophomores Jennifer Brown (33rd, 55.22), Katherine DePalma (49th, 59.7), and Morgan Hernandez (51st, 60.00) also scored for the Lady Rams (326.54). CHS went 0-3 against Fairfield (302.12), Staples (304.64), and Greenwich (324.5).
Cheshire boys (295.45) went 4-1. They beat Greenwich (311.36), Staples (309.95), New Canaan (307.15), and St. Luke’s School (disqualification). Fairfield (287.99) defeated the Rams. Seniors Andrew Brown (ninth, 47.86), Mike Harris (13th, 48.47), Matt Bossy (15th, 48.83), Alec Cunningham (19th, 49.37), junior Ryan Bogrette (23rd, 50.34), and sophomore Joe Urbano (26th, 50.58) were scorers.
Cheshire hosts Daniel Hand, Pomperaug, Ridgefield, and Wilton on Jan. 30 at 4:15 p.m.
