The following information was received from the Cheshire School District:

For parents who are interested in having their child experience an extraordinarily unique and developmentally challenging learning environment guided by certified educators, Darcey School will be holding a Preschool Open House on Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. (snow date Jan. 31)
The Stephen August Early Intervention Center (EIC) is a preschool program that promotes the development of the whole child through a developmentally appropriate curriculum. The curriculum is aligned with the Connecticut Preschool Framework. Each classroom is taught by a certified teacher with two instructional assistants and is designed to meet the needs of preschoolers 3-5 years old, including those with identified learning needs.
