Ginsberg, George

George Ginsberg, 93, died on January 7, 2013, at The Highlands Health Care Center in Cheshire, Conn. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Sitnitsky Ginsberg.

He was born on August 20, 1919, a son of the late Benjamin and Lena Ginsberg, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the proprietor of Bristol Electric Supply Co. and a member of Beth Israel Synagogue in Wallingford.

He is survived by his daughter, Leila (Richard) Graber of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Bonnie and Peter Atkins; and his great-grandsons, Zachary and Cooper Atkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery on Dudley Ave., Wallingford. A period of mourning will immediately follow the service until 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. at 17 Eastgate Dr., Cheshire. Donations in memory of George may be made to Beth Israel Synogogue, 22 North Orchard St., Walllingford, CT 06492.
