On Friday, Cheshire High School girls' basketball (5-3; 2-0 in Housatonic Division) came back from a 10-0 deficit to win 50-40 at Lyman Hall (5-3; 1-1). During the second half, An 18-0 run put Cheshire up 41-30. Junior Missy Bailey scored 17 points (12 in second half; two three-pointers) in consecutive games. Bailey and senior Lauren Como came up with five rebounds. Sophomore Sara Como posted a personal-high 14 points, 12 rebounds. Senior Molly Jalbert recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Kya O'Donnell (career-high eight rebounds) and junior Bryanna McIntosh had two points. CHS hit 18 of 22 foul shots.
Cheshire travels to Hillhouse (2-4) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CHS won 53-43, their first rivalry victory since 1994, on Dec. 11.
Boys' Basketball (3-3; 1-1)
The Rams collected their first Housatonic win, defeating Sheehan (3-4; 1-1) 73-56. Senior Kevin Dietrich had 15 points and classmate Erik Pettit netted 13. Senior Tim Covel and junior Collin Jordan scored 10. Senior Eric Dietrich added eight.
CHS hosts Joseph Foran (3-3) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Boys' Swim and Dive (2-0)
In the Wethersfield Invite, Cheshire finished fourth with 153.5 points. Wethersfield was the champion (416).
CHS hosts Notre Dame-West Haven and Kennedy on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Cheshire travels for Saturday's Fairfield Warde Tournament at 10 a.m.
