A new session of Aquamotion is scheduled to begin Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Cheshire Community Pool. The program is taught by Kathy Jerome, who has over 20 years experience in the aquatic fitness field. The class is geared toward the older adult, although it is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels. Approximately one half of the class is devoted to a cardio workout, which includes walking, jogging, jumping jacks, and cross country skiing, among other exercises. The other half of the class includes muscle toning, strengthening and stretching, and incorporates the use of fitness equipment such as barbells and noodles. The class is offered daily Monday – Friday from 9 to 10 am and runs through March 22, 2013. Participants pay for three days per week and can come on whatever days suit their schedule.
