Reminder: Trash Pickup To Be Delayed For Holidays

The following information was received from the Cheshire Public Works Department:

In an effort to keep all Cheshire residents informed of the solid waste and recycling collection for both the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, George Noewatne, acting director of Public Works, has advised that there will be no collection of solid waste and recycling on Tuesday, Dec. 25, or Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Pickup will be delayed one day after each of these holidays. Please note that trash and recycling pickup will be on a normal schedule Monday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 31.
