Woods Hired As New Principal At Dodd Middle School

December 14, 2012 by John Rook

Dodd Middle School barely missed a beat when its former principal Jeff Solan took the same position at Cheshire High School earlier this year. That's because then-retired former Dodd Principal Donald Wailonis agreed to step in and take over on an interim basis.
Now, however, the middle school will have a more permanent leader taking the reins.
Michael Woods, an assistant principal at a New Caanan middle school and former Cheshire students, was officially hired by the Board of Education on Thursday night. Woods, a resident of Madison, is expected to take over the position sometime in February.
