After a meeting between Athletic Director Steve Trifone and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Greg Florio, Don Drust has become head football coach at Cheshire High School. Principal Jeff Solan announced the promotion this afternoon.
Under the interim tag in 2012, Cheshire had their first winning season (6-4) in three years. Drust, a 1999 graduate, has been a member of the coaching staff since 2007.
