CHS Powder Puff Drops Nail-Biter

Cheshire High School lost 13-10 against Southington in Tuesday's Powder Puff Classic at Alumni Field. Kathryn Vitale ran for 120 yards on 34 carries and scored a two-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Nicole Stauffer made her extra point.
Maeghan Chapman took an interception back (7-7) to the end zone at the end of the first half. Stauffer hit a 12-yard field goal for a 10-7 advantage in the third quarter. Erica Kosienski of Southington produced the final points on a five-yard touchdown with 3:58 remaining.
