Razor-Thin Margin Separates Esty, Roraback With Only Five Municipalities Left To Report

Less than 700 votes separates Cheshire resident Elizabeth Esty (D) from State Senator Andrew Roraback (R) in their race for the U.S. House of Representatives 5th District seat, with only five municipalities left to report.
Currently, Esty leads by a count of 109724 to 109094 with Litchfield, Plymouth, Torrington, Woodbury, and Meriden left to report votes. So far, Esty has performed best in the cities while Roraback has done very well in subirban areas.
