CHS Girls' X-C Reaches New England Again!

Cheshire High School girls' cross country took sixth (241) in the State Open at Wickham Park. Junior Kimmi Grove (47th, 20:42), seniors Kathleen Kalbian (51st, 20:47) and Hannah Purtell (52nd, 20:47), sophomore Natalie Wickenheisser (72nd, 21:06), junior Erin Strahley (129th, 22:04), senior Julie Trifone (151st, 22:35), and sophomore Kendra Brown (152nd, 22:36) formed the team.
Ridgefield was first (83). For the second year in a row, CHS will run in the New England Championship on Saturday in Cumberland, ME.
Junior Lucas Marcouiller (46th, 17:16) and senior Sagar Nakrani (91st, 17:41) were boys' racers in Manchester.
