Sunday Is Busy Day At Alumni Field

Sunday's Shoreline Youth Football Conference schedule includes three Cheshire Junior Football teams with 6-2 records hosting games at Cheshire High School's Alumni Field:
Fifth Grade
vs. East Haven 11 a.m.
Seventh Grade 'B'
vs. East Haven 1 p.m.
Eighth Grade
vs. Simsbury 3 p.m.
Sixth grade (4-4) visits the Surf Club to play host Madison at 5 p.m. Fourth grade 'A' travels to North Branford at 11 a.m.
Cheshire High School girls' soccer (12-2-2; Housatonic Division Champion at 6-0-2)
The Lady Rams (second seed) are the defending Southern Connecticut Conference champions. They host Daniel Hand (seventh; 10-6) in this year's quarterfinal at 5 p.m. CHS swept Hand on Sept. 14 (4-1) and Oct. 6 (3-1).
Cheshire has won six SCC crowns overall.
