Cheshire High Graduates Narrowly Miss Out On Chance To Sing With Favorite Group

University of Connecticut all-female a cappella group Rubyfruit, including Cheshire High School graduates Melissa DePaolo (2008) and Laurel Filek (2010), spent the last two weeks competing in a national video contest created by the country group Lady Antebellum. The prize was the chance to sing with the artist in a concert.
Rubyfruit garnered the most votes, comments, and views of their video rendition of American Honey, but Lady Antebellum announced tonight that Breath Of Soul was their choice for the Dec. 3 concert, On This Winter’s Night, in Nashville.
