Cheshire High School football (4-2) came from 15 points behind to beat Wilbur Cross (1-4) 28-23 on Friday at Alumni Field. Scoring summary is below:
First Quarter
64-yard touchdown from Wilbur Cross junior Donte Skinner to senior Ysaan Frazier (6:32) 0-7, WC
Point after touchdown by junior Justin Atkinson was good
25-yard fumble return by Wilbur Cross sophomore Zach Washington (4:12) 0-14, WC
PAT from Atkinson was good
Second Quarter
33-yard touchdown by senior Vin Sansone (5:27) 6-14, WC
PAT from junior Tyler Bailey failed
One-yard touchdown from Skinner (1:51) 6-21, WC
PAT by Atkinson was good
Third Quarter
Seven-yard touchdown by Sansone (10:23) 12-21, WC
Two-point conversion failed
32-yard score from sophomore Andrew Yamin (7:29) 20-21, WC
Two-point conversion by Sansone was good
Fourth Quarter
11-yard touchdown by senior Sam Pascale (4:40) 28-21, CHS
